Good job Y. The music choices were great and very nice directing.
I never knew about this center. Where exactly is it in Muharraq?
BTW, you may want to invest in a wireless mic. Not that the sound was bad, but with the wonderful video directing you’ve done, it deserves some good quality audio.
i’ve been to the cultural center a few times, beautiful place… i love the actual neighborhood and how its kept in traditional style… i’ve actually got a bunch of photos of the place and the hood waiting for me to write a little guide on it for my site, but i keep delaying it!
love the idea of the video post, amazing stuff… yes, perhaps a mic might make more sense… let me know if you need help with any future ones bro! keep it up
@Hasan: Thanks Hasan, that file is full of funny decrees and the language they use is very colloquial which makes reading them even more funnier
@Chanad: Thanks for dropping by, and as for the sound, I’ll look around for mics and to be honest I’m not sure that the camera I used (it’s a small nikon digital camera nothing fancy) has a port for mics! so I’ll need to check
@BuZain: Thanks, and as for the centre if you come to Muharraq from the Shaikh Hamad bridge (the old one) and pass the first traffic light and turn right at the roundabout (HSBC and Jameeya Il-Eslah) and go through that street you’ll find signs to it but you might face some problems with parking though :s
The centre is open from 9 am to 12pm and 4pm to 7pm
@Ammar: Thanks Ammar, and I hope you do get the time to write up the guide like the others you’ve done before
Yagoob,
This video is amazing. Seriously professionally done and really stands out from the rest of the Bahraini blogs. I like your direction and yours is a blog I enjoy reading (or viewing), please keep it up.
Just one remark, you shouldn’t have used Indian music for a Bahraini cultural peice, but that is me.
I wish I had "Patak" to do what you do. Right no I’m not even bothered to write anything.
Excellent job, Yagoob
I like the idea of the segment. (the decrees, by the way, were hilarious!)
Excellent job Yagoob.

Great stuff! Looking forward to more. (You might want to invest in a cheap collar mic to improve the sound)

Thank you!
And about the track..well yeah, it has an Indian vibe but it’s a pretty nice track though! lol
The other Bahrain traditional music tracks I have weren’t as good as the first one I used in the vlog (which is also my phone ringtone
)
